The VMS Guru desktop app runs on the PC next to your packing table. It records on the order scan, indexes the clip to the Order ID and uploads it as claim-ready evidence — on the cameras you already own.

Run the installer and log in with the account you created on the web dashboard. Everything the app records is tied to that account.
The app finds USB webcams automatically. For CCTV, paste the RTSP URL from your DVR/NVR — no new hardware, no rewiring.
Recording starts on the barcode scan and stops when the parcel is sealed, with pre and post buffers either side. The clip is indexed to the Order ID from the first frame.
On first run Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info → Run anyway — the installer is signed by us and published from our own release pipeline.
Open the .dmg, drag VMS Guru into Applications, then launch it from Applications. If macOS blocks the first launch, allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
The app checks for new versions on launch and updates itself in the background. You only need this page once, for the first install.
