The terms of using VMS Guru.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using VMS Guru, operated by VMS Guru, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and operating a lawful business to use VMS Guru.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions by your team members.

Credits, payment & taxes

• VMS Guru is sold as prepaid credit bundles. One credit corresponds to one packing video, subject to size and backup-duration tiers.
• Credits never expire while your account is active. Prices are exclusive of taxes, which are charged additionally as applicable.
• Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. Unless required by law or stated in our Refund Policy, purchased credits are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purpose.
• Upload content you do not have the right to capture, store or share.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.

Recording & consent responsibilities

VMS Guru records video at your premises using cameras you connect. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable surveillance, labour and privacy laws — including informing your staff and any individuals recorded, displaying notices where required, and obtaining any necessary consents. You will not use the service to record in areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Claims & marketplace disputes

VMS Guru helps you locate evidence and draft and file marketplace-compliant claims. We do not guarantee any specific claim outcome, recovery amount, or win rate. Final decisions rest with the marketplaces and courier partners, and you remain responsible for the content and accuracy of every claim filed from your account.

Intellectual property

The VMS Guru platform, software, models, branding and content are owned by VMS Guru and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Your video content and business data remain yours.

Service availability

We target high availability and operate on resilient infrastructure, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes, and may suspend access where necessary for security or legal reasons.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. VMS Guru shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost claims, or lost data. Our total aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VMS Guru against claims, damages and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data is handled per our Privacy Policy and retention practices.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Surat, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service, subject to applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
